Meet the team

Barry qualified from the University of Manchester in 2011. Since then, he has had a keen interest in upgrading his skills and knowledge. To this end he has attended courses with world's leading dentists. He enjoys all aspects of family dentistry and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. Barry especially likes providing minimally invasive options which allow fantastic results with little to no drilling of the teeth. Barry enjoys spending his free time with his wife, two small children and socialising with friends.

Andrei Qualified in Bucharest university in 2005, he then relocated to the UK in 2011 and worked in Penrith and Kirkby Lonsdale providing NHS and Private Dental Care. Andrei currently lives in Kendal and joined the Bay Team in 2022 to concentrate on providing good quality Private Dental Care. His main interests are aesthetics and Invisalign, and he would like to develop his skills and place implants in the future.

In Andrei’s spare time he enjoying walks in the lakes with his family, mountain biking and he also has a keen interest in motor bikes when time allows.

Maria was born in Greece where she grew up and lived a big part of her adult life. She qualified as a dentist in 2003 from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. She moved to the UK in 2010 and has worked both for the NHS and the private dentistry sector.

She has various post-graduate qualifications, including a diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. She has the knowledge and the experience to offer holistic options that would suit a person’s long term oral health and/or dental aesthetic needs, as well as the everyday ones.

Qualified at Liverpool University , Nigel is a friendly dentist with many years of experience in providing family dentistry. As a former private practice owner and clinical director of a corporate dental group, Nigel is a caring dentist who understands patient fears and concerns about dental treatment. He looks to offer his patients gentle dental care, including preventive and minimally invasive dental treatments whenever possible, and has special interest in the treatment of periodontal (gum health) problems, restorative dental treatments and cosmetic dentistry using the latest techniques and materials. Away from Practice, he is an avid sports fan and is a qualified junior rugby coach, having spent many years involved with Preston Grasshoppers rugby club. He enjoys motorsport, classic cars, walking, keeping fit, and following the professional careers of his three now very much adult children.

William is one of our associates and graduated from the University of Manchester in 2009. His talent in Dentistry was noticed early on when he was awarded the Edgar Houghton Operative Skills prize along with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

William’s special interest is in Implant Dentistry and sedation. He has been placing Dental Implants for 10 years, and has completed the ‘gold standard’ of Implant post-graduate training at the Royal College of Surgeons, London. He received his diploma in implant dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2018. William has worked with many different Implant systems over the years, and understands the newer techniques in bone grafting. He often spends his free time attending courses to further his knowledge and even calls dental implants his main hobby!

William has also gone further with his sedation training and completed a post-graduate certificate in dental sedation and anxiety management, from the University of Edinburgh in 2021. But don’t let his “fresh” face fool you, William has been practicing dentistry for 12 years and also has good experience in oral surgery and endodontics
